This is a great crop for the price!!! I thought it had a leather handle but it is rubber. Obviously it wasn't leather because of the price. Other than that it's great for the price.

I ordered two of these crops a month ago because they had good reviews and I needed something to beat people with. Well, first of all. . .they don't look like normal crops. The leather appears to be hand wrapped over some reed like center. . .at any rate, they weren't uniform, had a strange curve, and they were even different lengths from one another. Looks aside (since that wasn't the part that bothered me) . . . Considering I had these for less than a month, I was very disappointed when the first one killed itself in two weeks and the second one in three. I suppose I used them a bit more heavily than a casual tap here and there, but if you want a crop that will hold up to extensive use, this isn't it. If you're looking for a cheap BDSM style crop? then sure this is a great choice.

I got this crop for a Halloween costume, it did its job! Methinks I might use it other days...

Bought this product to be used differently from it's intended purpose;) GREAT QUALITY!!!! Seriously awesome craftsmanship, this whip is great. Has a good sting to it. The wrist strap wasn't really used and is kind of annoying, i just cut it off.

You should see the reaction on peoples faces when they see that on the wife's nightstand. Anyhow it seems to be well made and works fine.

I just received this yesterday, it's part of my Halloween Costume (a sexy ring master) and it goes great with the theme that I am wishing to portray. By the looks of it though, it's construction, it's made very well, doesn't seem like it is easy to break and the weaving wont fall apart. I read other reviews on other whips, where they are spray painted or you lash something or someone once, only to have the paint chip into dist and float into the air--not this one. The handle had a nice little grip on it, the shaft is sturdy and covered in fine weaving and the flap it smade of real leather. It has a nice sting as well.

This whip was great for the price! I bought it for a halloween costume and it is perfect.. a little shorter than other crops which is what I wanted. I don't ride horses, so I can't comment on durability for that use.
