I was pleased with this statue. It looks much heavier than it is, which is OK. It looks just like the picture that I ordered it from, and makes a very nice addition to a grouping of items that I have on a table. It also is a rather universal style and doesn't have to be used in just an Asian or Oriental design setting.

this product was a gift and is complete garbage. it falls apart every time you look at it. it was a total waste of money. the only part of it that is decent is the horses(cute) and the doll is as well. i would have never paid for the cheap cardboard sides or the cardboard floor---we can make a much more sturdy barn out of a box. would not recommend.

I purchased this set at Costco for my daughter for Christmas. We assembled it that morning, and right away I could tell it was going to be a problem. First of all, from the picture on the box, it looks like the whole set is plastic. The walls of the stable are actually a heavy shiny cardboard that can barely support the weight of the large plastic roof. There are 4 support pieces, but they do little to help it stay together. You have to line up the walls with this little groove that runs along the roof piece, and also get the 4 support pieces to click into place. It is almost impossible to do, and once you do get it together it cannot be moved or played with. I returned it to Costco and will not make another Breyer purchase. I did call the company first, and they were not interested at all in what I had to say, or to help remedy the problem. They just said I'd have to return it to Costco.

This stable was easy to put together. It has three separate stalls for all of the granddaughter's horses. She was able to pretend of the horses coming in, being saddled, and riding around the table. This is wonderful for a little girl to pretend. The Western horse and doll were easy for her to put the bridle on....very wonderful.

I agree with all of the above. "Santa " got this for our daughter (again at Costco). It falls apart so easily . My daughter is getting so frustrated that she is starting to cry when it breaks when she tries to move it. We will probably return. The doll and horse are fine so it will be hard to take them away from my daughter to return the CRUMMY stable.

I purchased this toy at Costco and it was a complete waste of money. The horses and rider are fine, but the barn instantly falls apart if you are able to get it fully together at all. I returned this product to Costco.

If you ride a horse, you should have this book. Saddle fit is complicated to understand, yet this book covers all the factors in a comprehensive way. Without favoring any brands or styles, this book addresses the elements of saddle fit for the horse, rider, and saddle construction. Detailed advice on how to correct problems with pads and shims. Helpful to the rider, horse owner, saddle maker, and anyone shopping for a horse or saddle. The DVD is great, too.

I realized that I really didn't know a lot about saddles and how they related to my horses. So when I saw this book and the fact that it was written by a DVM, I decided to try it. I was not a bit disappointed. The illustrations are very helpful and clear. The text is easy to understand and explains how each saddle part affects the horse and the possible problems that a bad fit or broken saddle can cause. You get good ideas of why your horse may misbehave while under saddle and how that relates to saddle fit. The book goes into some descriptions of saddle pads, but could be expanded. I was disappointed that girths aren't really covered. For the money, this is one of the best books in my library, to date.

I have been riding for years, not understanding saddle fit. These poor horses! I have now been to two saddle fitting clinics (english and western). I recommend getting both DVD's from Trafalgar Square(english and western) on saddle fit. This book takes saddle fit even further; saddle pads that can change everything. Do your horse a favor and buy this book. I am shocked by the amount of rescue of unwanted horses, only to turn them over to the torture they will endure with the uneducated rider. Do yourself a favor and buy this book to stop wasting money. Avoid the traps of someone just trying to sell you whatever they can. This book will help you manuver the pitfalls of an expensive purchace and have the confidence to make the right choice. This book needs to be purchased by every horse owner that spends any amount of time in the saddle.

After months of wait for the release, my copy finally came. I am very happy with the book. It is an excellent reference for western saddle fit issues for both horse and rider. Covers a wide variety of saddle styles, pros and cons, etc. How to evaluate the soundness of saddle trees on used saddles. Common conformational issues and how they impact fit. Even pads and fittings are covered. Just a wonderful, all-around go-to source. Will be next to the author's English saddle book in my permanent library.

I've been looking for a lightweight waffle weave saddle pad liner for some time now. Most have been more than 1 layer, adding too much thickness under my horse's saddle. This one is perfect! It's a nice single layer with bound edges, and just wonderful at stabilizing the saddle. No slipping between the horse and regular saddle pad or saddle blanket. My horse seems comfortable with it as well. On sweaty days, just hose it off and let it dry. No washing machine! Best of all, the price is great too!
