This is the cutest saddle and bridle I have ever seen. I ordered it for my Granddaughter's Smores pony that she is getting for Christmas. It would also work for a real miniture horse. Excellent quality.

I was pleased with this statue. It looks much heavier than it is, which is OK. It looks just like the picture that I ordered it from, and makes a very nice addition to a grouping of items that I have on a table. It also is a rather universal style and doesn't have to be used in just an Asian or Oriental design setting.

I am finding this book easy to read, packed full of great information with explanatory pictures to illustrate. It gives good background information that is necessary to understand the material. Overall, well worth the money I paid. I have read it cover to cover, and will constantly return to it as a reference. My friends are already wanting to borrow it.

I read this book from cover to cover. And plan to go back and read key areas again. It is an excellant resource for saddle fitting. Easy to read and very helpful.

Dr. Harman's book is worth its weight in gold for anyone considering buying a new saddle, or needing to evaluate the saddle they already have. She writes in a clear, easy-to-understand way about all aspects of saddles: their construction, how to evaluate fit for the horse AND the rider,where to find saddles,and selecting saddle pads. Her pictures illustrate and enhance the text. I'm very glad that I've added this book to my library.

If you ride a horse, you should have this book. Saddle fit is complicated to understand, yet this book covers all the factors in a comprehensive way. Without favoring any brands or styles, this book addresses the elements of saddle fit for the horse, rider, and saddle construction. Detailed advice on how to correct problems with pads and shims. Helpful to the rider, horse owner, saddle maker, and anyone shopping for a horse or saddle. The DVD is great, too.

I realized that I really didn't know a lot about saddles and how they related to my horses. So when I saw this book and the fact that it was written by a DVM, I decided to try it. I was not a bit disappointed. The illustrations are very helpful and clear. The text is easy to understand and explains how each saddle part affects the horse and the possible problems that a bad fit or broken saddle can cause. You get good ideas of why your horse may misbehave while under saddle and how that relates to saddle fit. The book goes into some descriptions of saddle pads, but could be expanded. I was disappointed that girths aren't really covered. For the money, this is one of the best books in my library, to date.

When I bought my first horse last year, I had to outfit him in everything from hooves to head... I discovered these Saddle pads at my local tack shop and was attracted to their classic looks -- nice piping around the edges, thick quilted padding, good size (which was important considering my horse was about 100 pounds overweight at the time :-O ). They had nice colors (Ollie is a dark bay so figured the khaki green looked particularly nice on him ;-) They have velcro straps to hook onto the billets of your saddle so they stay in place. The underside is a soft microfiber and overall, the pad seems absorbent and breathable (his sweat soaks through and wicks away like a cotton t-shirt). A year later, though the color has a faded a little bit, there are absolutely no signs of wearing out. The stitching is still perfect, the straps are still firmly in place, and it goes through the washer and dryer with ease. These still look nearly as good as the day I bought them (I bought 2 to rotate). These pads cost much less than many other pads that don't seem to be built as well or look as nice. These are a great value and wouldn't hesitate to buy the Roma brand for other pieces of "horsey clothes". I'm very satisfied.

I own a black Fell pony and have been looking for a lime green saddle pad for him. I found this one and fell in love with it. Great price and great quality. Nice vivid colors and well sewn. I would recomend this saddle pad to any one!
